Sales Representative - Cold Lake, AB.

Concord Rentals is a strong and well-established oilfield company that became active in the oilfield industry in 1999. By providing work-over and completion equipment for both rig and rigless operations, Concord Rentals is able to supply services that are complementary to Concord Well Servicing. With a hardworking, dedicated team working from four strategically placed offices in Whitecourt, Hinton, Grand Prairie, and Cold Lake Alberta we are able to offer timely delivery of our complete line of oilfield rental equipment in northwestern Alberta. Concord Well Servicing is a global leader in well servicing innovation and takes pride in having delivered quality service to our clients over the past 30 years. We set a new standard in job training with the first-ot-its-kind simulation-based training for rig workers, and are focused on continually improving the skills sets of our competent workforce. We strive to provide superior customer service and are committed to maintaining a safe workplace for our people and the environment. Our extensive fleet consists of 129 rigs, and operates our of bases in Grand Prairie, Whitecourt, Acheson, Cold Lake, Lloydminster, Blackfalds, and Drayton Valley, serving Alberta, Saskatchewan, B.C. and the NWT.

 

As part of our strategic sales initiative, the successful Candidate will be responsible for selling both Concord Rentals and Concord Well Servicing's portfolio of products and services in the assigned territory.

Responsibilites:

  • Maximizing business opportunities and profitability through the creation and management of relationships with current andpotential clients, for Concord Rentals and Concord Well Servicing.
  • Pro-actively addressing the changing requirements of the client and responding to changing local market situations.
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding and awareness of local market conditions, competitor operations and other significant opportunities or competitive threats.
  • Collabrating with the Operations Team to create strategies and initiatives designed to drive sales.
  • Acting as a liaison between the Operations Team and clients in order to communicate work proposals and scheduled work.
  • Providing ongoing account support through effectively and efficiently resolving client issues and concerns.
  • Creating quotes appropriate to client needs utilizing current Concord Rentals and Concord Well Servicing pricing schedules.
  • Assist in the development of tactical and strategic marketing plans in conjunction with the Marketing Team
  • Optimizing local market opportunities through building and maintaining industry relations at conferences and forums.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years sales experience specific to the upstream oil and gas industry.
  • Post-secondary business degree or diploma( Marketing Major an asset) and/or a professional sales desination. A combination of education/experience will also be considered.
  • working knowledge of software applications: Microsoft word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook.
  • Proven skill sets regarding planning and coordination large scale projects. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop, nurture and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external clients.
  • Self-confidence, interpersonal flexibility, initiative and perseverance.
